Ingredients
6 Dates
6 Almonds
12 pitachio halves
2 tbsp Cream
1/2 tsp sugar
Method:
Deseed the dates, insert 1 almond and 2 pistachio halves in the dates.
In a bowl take the cream and beat with some sugar until soft peaks form.
Spoon the cream on each date.
Tips:
I used Madjool dates here they are big so you can add stuffing.
If you have to make a large batch for a dawat just double the number.
If the dates you are using are small omit the pistachios or just stuff with pistachios instead of almonds. Take your pick.
You can get creative and make your own stuffing up.
You can use a electric beater to beat cream is quicker.
Notes:
This is great to impress your guest but doesn't take long to do. You can get anyone to help with this. Kids will happily stuff the almonds pistachios for you. I wouldn't give them a knife to deseed the dates.
