Ingredients
2 large potatoes cut into chips
2 green chillies slit in the centre
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
½ tsp turmeric
½ cup water
Method
Add oil to a wok, let it heat on medium high, add the cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.
Then add the green chilli and let it cook to let out the flavour in the oil. Add chips , salt and turmeric.
Stir well , add water and cooked covered for about 10 minutes or till the water evapourates.
Stir well to brown the chips from all sides. Open lid and cook for a further 5 minutes to get the chips crispy.
Serve with kadi kichdi or roti.
