1 cup split chick peas (yellow) soaked for 3-4 hours and drained
3 green chillies
few sprigs of coriander
2 cloves of garlic
3 whole red dry chilli
salt to taste
turmeric
1 medium red onion diced
some extra chopped coriander
Method
Add all the ingredients in a food processor except for the last 2 ingredients (onion and coriander)
Grind to a coarse paste.
Add the diced onions and coriander.
Heat oil in frying pan on medium.
Drop teaspoon fulls in hot oil , deep fry and enjoy.
Tips:
Serve hot with imli chutney.
Notes:
This is a crowd pleaser and can be enjoyed any time to bridge the gap between meals.
