Ingredients
1 red capsicum cut in chunks
1 green capsicum cut in chunks
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp fennel seeds
1 onions, cut into thick wedges
1 garlic clove crushed
1 inch ginger finely chopped
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1red chilli finely chopped
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
650 gms lean rump or fillet steak cut into thick strips
Method:
Heat oil in a non-stick pan or wok and add cumin & fennel seeds. Allow them to splutter. Add the onions, garlic, ginger and chilli & fry for a further 3 minutes.
Add the spices & salt. Add the peppers & stir fry for about 5 minutes. Stir in the beef strips and continue to fry for 10-12 minutes or until the meat is tender and done to your choice. Serve with warm naan or rice.
