1 cup Kabuli chana soaked overnight and boiled
1 medium onions finely chopped
2 tbsp oil
2 green chillies finely chopped
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 inch fresh ginger julienned
Salt to taste
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp amchur powder (raw mango powder)
1 tbsp chopped coriander
Method:
In a sauce pan add oil and heat on medium heat. Add the onions, fry for a few minutes till the onions are transparent.
Add the chilli and ginger, fry for a few minutes then add the spices except for garam masala & Amchur.
Add some water and let the masala come off the side and oil showing on top. Then add the chana and 1 cup water and bring to a boil for 10 minutes.
Add garam masala & amchur powder . Let it simmer for 2 minutes and pour into a serving bowl and garnishe with coriander.
