3 cups Milk
1 packet of 175 gm. Vermicelli
2 tbsp.Ghee
Few strands of saffron
10-12 chopped cashew nuts
½ tsp. cardamom powder
¼ tsp. nutmeg powder
10-12 almonds chopped
10-12 pistachios chopped
10-12 raisins (optional)
Sugar to taste
Method:
Boil the milk in a saucepan till reduced to ¾ its quantity. In another heavy base pan add ghee and roast the nuts and raisin. The raisin will puff, remove from ghee and set aside. In the same ghee add the vermicelli and roast till light brown.
Add the vermicelli to the milk with nuts and sugar as per taste.
Serve hot or cold!
